Characteristics of 4 strains of MaxSpore®

B. subtilis HU58®

  • Restores balance in gut microflora
  • Helps maintain gut barrier integrity
  • Decreases endotoxin concentration and reduces
    gut inflammation.
  • Produces SCFA Butyrate important for healthy
    colonic mucosa.
  • Highly important for GALT (gut associated lymphoid tissue) associated immune development

B. coagulans SC208®

  • Demonstrates the characteristics of both Bacillaceae (spore forming) and Lactobacillaceae ( production of lactic acid)
  • Fights inflammatory conditions, aid in digestion and prevent the growth of harmful bacteria.
  • Produces L+ optical form of lactic acid which has a more profound effect on immune stimulation and gut defense than the other forms of lactic acid produced by conventional probiotics.

B. indicus HU36®

  • The only antioxidant probiotic in the market that produces high levels of carotenoids - lycopene, astaxanthin, beta-carotene, and lutein at the site of absorption.
  • Fights postprandial oxidative stress in the gut.

B. clausii SC109®

  • Has immunomodulating properties by modulating cytokine levels.
  • Recommended for use during antibiotic treatment due to its ability to resist damage from a variety of common antibiotics

Benefits of MaxSpore®

Proven benefits in metabolic endotoxemia (Leaky gut syndrome)

  • A randomized, double-blind, and placebo-controlled trial was able to reduce biomarkers of metabolic endotoxemia by an enormous 45% in just 30 days.

Proven benefits in hypertriglyceridemia

  • A randomized double-blind placebo controlled clinical trial conducted in 80 patients with mild to moderate hypertriglyceridemia (HT) demonstrated that the combination of Bacillus probiotics significantly lowered the blood triglyceride levels compared to the placebo.

Proven benefits in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

  • A prospective, randomized clinical study conducted in 90 patients with IBS showed a reduced IBS severity-score more effectively than rifaximin with the nutraceutical and similarly to rifaximin with a low-FODMAP diet. The combination of BacillusTM spores showed better improvement in quality of life of patients than rifaximin plus the nutraceutical or a low-FODMAP diet.

Multiple benefits in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)

  • Bacillus spores in MaxSpore® reduce post-prandial endotoxemia, IL-6, reduce post-prandial endotoxemia, IL-6, IL-12p70, IL 1ß, and ghrelin and elevated triglycerides with no dietary changes or other therapies.
  • Helps repair the damaged gut mucosa and restore mucosal tight junction complex.
  • Strongly enhances the butyrate levels and microbial diversity in the colon.

Proven protective effect in drug induced acute

  • A study showed that pre-treatment with a combination of the Bacillus spores resulted in a significant reduction in AST, ALT, proinflammatory cytokines, ZO-1 and TAC, as well as hepatocyte necrosis in acetaminophen induced hepatotoxicity in rats suggesting hepatoprotective potential of this spore-based probiotic in drug-induced acute hepatotoxicity.
